Village of Sodus

Sodus is a town in Wayne County, New York, United States, located along the southern shore of Lake Ontario between Rochester and Syracuse. The population was 8,028 at the 2020 census. Established in 1789, the town takes its name from the Native American word "Assorodus," commonly interpreted as "silvery water."
